FishHunter is a military grade sonar transducer that’s been shrunk down and made to fit inside a rubber ball. The floating gadget moves with the current and sketches the bottom of any water body – it shows fish swimming through its cone shaped listening field below.

FishHunter sends data via Bluetooth that’s interpreted inside the world’s most evolved fishing app (required) to make a very useful display on most iPhone or Android* device screens.

Muskoka Outdoors is currently reviewing and evaluating the FishHunter sonar and app and we look forward to sharing our findings with our readers very soon.

With fishing boats (and accompanying fish finders) off the water in anticipation for the hard water season, the FishHunter sonar can be used to help find fish (and structure) from shore.
