Totally Alone In The Yukon!
One man. Totally alone for 3 months in Canada’s Yukon. Watch Ed Wardle’s video dispatches from the Yukon wilderness.
This is a unique digital media event that any outdoors person would enjoy following. I was contacted recently by a PR Rep. from National Geographic about letting our readers know about Ed’s adventures in the Yukon. After checking out their Alone in the Wild website I am happy to ask you to consider checking out Ed’s real-time video journal.
Essentially, Ed has been dropped off somewhere in Canada’s Yukon armed with survival equipment, cameras and pre-assigned video drop off points in his GPS. As Ed video tapes and documents his adventures, he ‘drops’ off his tapes for film and editing crews to process. The catch is – he does NOT ever see the crew. They pick up the videos after he has passed through.
On the Alone in the Wild website you can:
-Watch Ed’s video diaries:

-Follow Ed’s Twitter feed:

-Track Ed’s progress via Google Map Locator
-Check out the various camera equipments Ed is using to document his journey
I have started following Ed on my twitter account. To give you a video ‘teaser’ of his adventures – here is a one of his first videos:
