A spearfisherman’s time in paradise that went very wrong. The incident brings new meaning to the safety precaution, “Be sure of your target”. The Associated Press reports (via MSNBC) that,

“Surgeons successfully removed a 15-centimeter (6-inch) fishing spear from the brain of a man who was struck while diving off the coast of Rio de Janeiro…Emerson de Oliveira Abreu apparently fired the spear, which ricocheted off rocks and penetrated his own head so deeply that only the tip was showing…” Entire Article Here
