We all hate to say it. Yet, it can not be avoided. Every fishing day must come to an end. The angler’s white flag goes up when someone says, “Last cast!”.

Some anglers don’t bother to make their final attempt at a cast as they think they will have a better chance at winning the lottery. Others, like myself, always make an effort to make one last cast.

Does it payoff? Usually not, but when it does – the payout out can be huge.

I was notified (via twitter) that they decided to make one last cast on the Bulkley River in BC. They hooked a monster steelhead today (photo below)! it would appear they run a great fishing lodge out there. Check them out! I would take a last cast out there anyday!
