Poacher Shoots Farmer’s Donkey
I chuckled when I first read about the details of this incident. After I read the details of the shooting, it lost it’s humor. Apparently, a hunter (who I will call a poacher) was ‘hunting’ after legal shooting hours and ‘thought’ he was shooting at a deer or a bear. Fortunately, the farmer called the Ontario MNR and Conservation Officers were dispatched to the scene. The Daily Observer reports that,
“Schison was fined $1,500 for careless hunting and an additional $1,000 for hunting at night. Schison also faces a two-year hunting licence suspension and must complete a hunter safety course before regaining his licence.” Entire Article Here
