Moose Camp Update: Day 2 Part 3
Ended the day with a watch over on Grandpa’s property. The cold of the wintery and windy afternoon was broken when two does walked through the hardwood ridge I was watching. Surprisingly, both were oblivious to my presence. Dad walked through various portions of the surrounding bush in an attempt to push some moose our way.
There were none to be found.
Maybe the weather is forcing them to ‘hunker’ down in some evergreens. Dad did see some fresh bear tracks on the start of his trek. Perhaps, its presence made the moose scarce.

Well – I’ll stop complaining about the cold miserable weather we’re having, I guess. At least it isn’t snowing here. Ok – I lied, I won’t stop complaining..it’s freezing! Hope you were good and layered up – that cold wet weather can be tough to just sit and wait in.
