Fox News posted this interesting photo of a one-horned roe deer that was born in captivity. Normally, deer are born with 2 horns which later develop into antlers. The deer in this Rome born deer has a twin with normal antlers and scientists attribute the weird growth to a genetic flaw or trauma during birth. Visit the foxnews website for more details regarding this deer and its antler. The photo comes from the Associated Press.

Fishing and hunting is more about the people you are in the outdoors with, then the fish or game you catch. This is a outdoor truth I learned from fishing and hunting with my father and grandfather at an early age. Whether, I am fishing the back country of a Algonquin Park or the lakes and rivers of my hometown Huntsville, ON the story behind every fish and game animal is better shared with friends. Blogging is the way in which I can share the truths, the teachable moments, and the incredible memories of every outdoors trip.
