Little East River Trout

I got some photos from Kevin and Ray. Their email said,

” … after working my butt off at the cottage and feeding the Black flies with some fine English Rump, I got a couple of fishing trips on the Little East. You will find the little East FULL of speckled trout up to 10″ right now, I had a blast with my buddy Ray.

Ray had a plenty of trout for the pan and we released loads of little chub/trout. If you find yourself with time to spare, drop Ray an email and he may show you our hot spots …” -End of email

I know the spot on the Little East well guys. Thanks for the note. I am planning to visit that section of river today. You can bet I will follow up with you guys for the “other hot spots”. I love the photos guys!

Thanks for the update.

Fishing and hunting is more about the people you are in the outdoors with, then the fish or game you catch. This is a outdoor truth I learned from fishing and hunting with my father and grandfather at an early age. Whether, I am fishing the back country of a Algonquin Park or the lakes and rivers of my hometown Huntsville, ON the story behind every fish and game animal is better shared with friends. Blogging is the way in which I can share the truths, the teachable moments, and the incredible memories of every outdoors trip. Congratulations! I´m also addicted with fly fishing with light tackle. I´ve been living in Barrie and thinking to go up around Arrowhead before May to give it a try. Do you guys have any tips? I will not kill any fish at all, just going to test my Cortland #4 fly tackle and brook fishing skills!
