Thoughts On Hunting Jacket Design

I missed two deer today. It was not because of my jacket, but because of ‘few’ other factors that the guys have been quick to mention around the camp dinner table.

Buck Fever aside, I got thinking on my last watch of the day about my 5yr old hunting jacket. What it has in character, it looses in features. If I had my way, it would have the following:

1. A see-through forearm pocket for my GPS. I could read it like my watch and the antenna could stay visible.
2. Easily accessible pockets for deer call, bullets, radio and licences.
3. NO steel buttons and zippers – they scratch Scopes and guns
4. It will extend beyond my waist
5. Forget carbon filtering and spend extra on waterproofing and warmth

What am I missing?
