I forgot to put up the pics of the work dad has been doing on a new tree stand. This is the stand that I posted via email from the other day (as discussed in this post).

We are hoping to see the buck that leaves this track within view of dad’s new construction project.

I head for deer camp tomorrow afternoon. This will make for a very long sleep tonight. The guys in the hunt camp have been keeping track of the days left by reminding each other how many sleeps are left. The count-down starts right after the last day of the hunt. It’s sad, but true.

I will be posting short posts to the blog while I am out there using my Blackberry (assuming the signal is strong enough). Please visit my blog daily to read about how we are doing. There will not be any photos – but I will try to give some good play-by-play action.

Now I just need to buy a Gunslinger
