    Bill….. choose the Remington…better gun. Brownings are all made in Japan or ???? Remington’s always shoot better groups as far as I have seen. But then again I would have added a Savage 110/111 series to this mix. Better than either gun listed.

    Remington. I shoot a Remington Model 7 in a 7mm-08 (it’s like the Model 700′s little brother), and I’ve always wanted a Model 700 in 7mm Mag.

    That’s the thing…I love the look of the Browning, but where I hunt the Remington’s synthetic stock makes more sense. Guess I’ll have to buy both – Don’t tell my wife…or the bank!

    Remington.
    I love the looks of the browning, but I appreciate the price of the Remington in comparison. For hunting where I’m going to do a lot of walking, I’d choose a synthetic stock. It would make me sick to scratch that beautiful browning. If I was just going to put it in a cabinet and show it off – I’d go browning all the way.
