Today, I was talking to a Grandpa about ice fishing. He told me about the time he took his grandson fishing on Skeleton Lake this past winter. Everything started out fine as they headed towards the lake through a small section of bush. When they arrived to the snow swept shore line, Grandpa told his Grandson that they were ‘here’. The man’s grandson said,
“This can’t be it Grandpa…!? There is no water here.”
It made me laugh so much that I had to share it on my blog (with permission of course!). Have you heard your grandkids, or kids say anything funny while hunting or fishing? If you can remember anything, please comment below about it.

That’s funny. I don’t think you can respond to that…except maybe get it on video and save for when you do catch the big one and they don’t catch anything.
Thanks for the great comment.
My kids, when they were really small, would take a look at my latest catch and say “why don’t you catch a big one, daddy?”
How do you respond to that?
