Lake Muskoka Snowmobiling Update

Snowmobile A visitor sent me an email that I feel may benefit some of our other visitors. With permission, here is their note:

RE: sledding on ice conditions.

“I was on Lake Muskoka end of February and found some slushie parts (one in particular was about 100 feet from end to end – could have ended in a big puddle). My advice – STICK TO THE TRAILS AND STAKED AREAS. The snow cover is creating insulation so, the ice is not ideal. Stay on the beaten path and don’t take any risks.”
