Here is some practical advice from, The Gun Nut, over at Field & Stream. Apparently, there are two simple things that you can do improve your shooting. You should be able to see the results immediately after doing the following:
- Before you shoot, take a deep breath and let it all out. You have seven seconds until you need to take another breath and it has the potential to clear-up any blurring.
- The second thing you can do is to take in some water 24 hours before you pull the trigger at the range (or from your stand).

My only concern would be in taking in all that water before you get into your tree stand. Any advantage the water gives your shooting may be negated by the trip out of your stand to tinkle…
