Congratulations Dana! While trolling with a basic minnow and hook rig in Fairy lake, Dana, hauled in this 4+ pound smallmouth bass into her dad’s (Triple L Fish Club Member) waiting net.
It took me awhile to get a digital version of the photo (I had to snap a photo of the original) but Muskoka Outdoors makes Dana our Outdoors Woman of the month.

Great Job Dana! You caught a large fish with a simple set up. Just think of the old days when native people had to catch their fish with spears… Keep it up!
True enough!
As the father of Dana I am proud to say that yes on this day and others during the summer my daughter out fished me. What a privledge it is for us in this area to to be able to head out for an hour or two and do a little fishing.
Also I am greatful for a daughter and a son who at the age of 17 and 20 respectively do not mind spending time with their old dad.
