S tockwell Day announced (on the Canadian Gun Registry Site) the changes the Government will make to the current regulations.
It looks like the system will look like the old system regarding unprohibited “long guns”. Gun training courses and police checks will still be viable safety measures. Hand guns and prohibited weapons saw no changes to their policies.
Way to go Harper!
