The OFAH is questioning the effectiveness of the the Ontario Governments proposed new changes to the Ontario Fishing Regulations.Please take some time to read the OFAH’s article. A portion of that article follows:
To complicate matters further, the government announced its plan to streamline walleye regulations in southern Ontario the day after it asked all anglers to comment on the new 20 fisheries management zones. However, in the case of southern Ontario walleye regulations, the government has not necessarily asked for public comment per se; rather it merely wants anglers to pick one of four options – all of which include size restrictions, smaller catch limits and shortened winter seasons.
