Antis fired up in New Jersey!

standingbear.jpg By way of the Black Bear Blog in Maine, Tom shares that some individuals in New Jersey are suing various people and organizations over the bear hunt.

Tom says:

Recently, four of the protesters filed suit against an array of people including the officer in charge of providing security at a hunter check station at Wawayanda Park. Named in the suit also were the arresting officer and one of the bear hunters.

Aside from the petty childish behavior of one group who deliberately stepped through a barrier that was set up to contain the protesters, another group went out into the woods to confront and harrass the hunters…

The article is well written. You should read it here.

Sadly, it would seem anti-hunting groups are still given undue attention. Their protests are based on emotion and not science. Hats off to hunters in New Jersey! Your Canadian ‘brothers‘ are with you!
