Daddies Hooked on Fishing – I mean Killing!

DaddyKillsAnimals.jpg I had to laugh at the craziness of it all. I stumbled upon the oPETAo (read the bold beetween the o’s) website last week. They are making comic books for kids with headlines that read:

Daddies hooked on killing!

I downloaded one of the comics from their site and posted as a PDF in this blog entry. I do not want to encourage you to visit their site (there will not be a link to their site from my blog) but your curiosity may lead you there (google it I guess). This group has lost their sensibility and credibility. I am not even sure I want to refute any portion of this comic on my blog. I sent them a note indicating my displeasure for their lack of taste and antics. Trash Can bound I am sure!
I thought I would make you all aware of their latest tactic to discredit fishing and hunting.

The PDF of the comic is HERE.

Mike Hanback has some great fuel for thought about this organization. Check out the Bucks on the rest of his site at http://www.typepad.com/t/trackback/4325876.

I think I’ll protest this weekend as well!

I had not seen this yet. These folks never cease to amaze me with their rhetoric. I like the fact that you posted the story without linking to them or mentioning their name.

I am going fishing this weekend just to protest
