Over at The Orange Vest Blog, the writer mentioned a story about a young girl who shot her first two does with one bullet. The article is here.
I think that shot was awesome. I am jealous about her ability since I have been known to fire multiple shot volleys with no effect!
I am concerned that she fired at a deer without considering what lay beyond her target. She was fortunate that the ‘bag limit’ was two does. Not considering what was beyond her target could have made her hunt turn out the wrong way.
Yet…is ALWAYS good to see young women learning to hunt. I can see why her father is proud!
